"Am I going to
fight the giant robot?........ yeah I going to have to fight the giant
robot... *sigh* right, Buford, hold my beer. CHARGE!"
Always the crazy Teaist and Adventurer (even to the point of having many outfits ((don't worry her mask always stays the same))), Bird Von Wal travelled the world seeking new teas and new roads to take. One road however, changed her life completely. In a less travelled part of the desert, Bird's cart (no better way to travel) sped over an abandoned Goblin hive which had been underground for who knows how long. The hive collapsed and the cart along with Bird and her strange teas fell in it. The cart exploded when it slammed into a rather pointy boulder and Bird was thrown from it knocking her unconscious. When she came to, the crater which used to be both cart and hive, was littered with debris and burning teas which gave off a cloudy, unnatural smoke. Bird climbed out of the crater and found she could not breath fresh air! She stayed in the crater for three days constructing a mask that allowed her to breath outside of the wreckage. She again climbed out and made her way back home (which conveniently housed most of her tea collection so her way of coin survived). One can still catch her selling her teas in markets across the world but never again will the sun shine on her face, now hidden forever by her mask.
Bird is never really involved with politics but she will run errands for diplomats (delivering important packages, being a guide, getting them safely from point A to point B) that require traveling from city to city in exchange for the freedom of selling her teas where ever she wishes. In doing this she has made friends in high places but also enemies. being a diplomatic "Butler" as she calls it, Bird has seen very secretive meetings and shady deals (of course not telling a soul). Having the contacts she has would usually allow her to finer, bigger, more powerful weaponry but Bird prefers two pistols, an electro-current absorbing-shock-round-firing revolver, and the other a Three Barrel Flintlock.
Bird is very kind and caring in nature but the road and her unusual medical issue have also made her cold and serious.

Bird was Vibranni but the explosion left her without a tail and her skin was all scarred and burned. Those who knew her from before the explosion know she is Vibranni but those who have met her post- explosion know her only as the "Mask Lady."

When in a fight, Bird tends to play with her enemy, taunting the enemy into blind rages, shooting around the enemy's feet, somewhat of a macabre sense of humor. She does not fear death even to the point of joking around in deadly situations. Bird would try to stop the fight but she would kill without hesitation if needed. To her allies, she is the most loyal. To her Tea though, She would lay down her life.
Bird will gladly tell you crazy stories about her adventures on the roads as well as information about her teas and medicines. The one piece of information she will never tell is the record of what teas created the strange fumes she infused into her mask via "cat whiskers" (small chambers holding the burnt tea essence that appear as catlike whiskers protruding from her mask) that she breathes through.
Bird's wanderings and missions have allowed her access to skills like fishing and hunting as well as the ability to use a boat (which she keeps tied to the roof of her cart). Many of her tales are fishing stories and other such adventures. Bird makes trips to Well Island as often as she can for there is always a new adventure waiting for her.
