Bows, Crossbows, Blowguns Weaponry

Until recently, arrows were the most deadly thing on the battlefield. All over the world of Orr bows and blowguns were used effectively as ranged weapons. Bows were extremely lethal and were used since ancient times by all races in Orr.

Crossbows were a human invention traded to Yeti traders in the early 1300s. They were able to shoot heavier, faster bolts farther than humans had been able to do before. Yeti adapted the design into a large spear gun and used it in fishing operations.

Modern day its difficult to say they have disappeared as bows and arrows and smaller crossbows are still in in use today. With the additions of clockwork inventions crossbows and bows have never been faster or more accurate. Compound bows and semi-automatic crossbows are readily available to any trained individual who can pay for it.
