An international organization with offices in most highly-technological countries on Orr, focused on the advancement, discussion, and study of automatons - machines to do work for humanity. It is one of the largest technical professional organizations on Orr.

Individual national organizations in the international league are named like "[Nationality] Automaton Science League".

Typically, there will be a physical club house in the capital of a nation, a social club for engineers with exclusive (paid for by membership fees) libraries full of research, schematics, and engineering notebooks.

Antiford, Kuu, Claurusia, and Monte-Diamont are known chapters of this organization.

This organization did not count the Buford Automaton Company as part of its ranks for most of its history, often appearing as a collection of rivals to the juggernaut banded together. At the turn of the century (1900), Lucas Buford would announce his company's participation in the organization and collaboration with it for the Buford Institute of Technology.
